UNCW Alert

Welcome to the UNCW Alert Registration Portal!

Thank you for registering your contact information with UNCWAlert, the mass notification system activated by UNCW authorities in the event of a weather or safety emergency. This will enable you to receive official emergency notifications as issued by UNCW.

Please note all UNCW students are automatically enrolled in this service. UNCW employees must activate the services via this page. You must deactivate this service to be removed from the distribution list.

Please note this service does not mean the public will receive all emails distributed to UNCW employees and students. This service includes only those notifications issued in the event there is an urgent need for an emergency message such as in the case of an active attacker or tornado warning.

After clicking on "Sign Me Up!" on the right side of this page, you will be asked to provide your first and last name, an email address, and a password for your new account.

Portal passwords must have at least 8 characters with a capital letter and a number, do not use special characters.

Once you have provided the information, you will receive a confirmation message to the email you have provided. Use the hyperlink provided in the email you receive to confirm your email address and log into your account.

Your portal user credentials will be active for whenever you need to log in and update subscriptions and preferences
